• Capture Arkansas 2010 Release Party

  Be among the first to get your hands on the Capture Arkansas 2010 book! We will be announcing the winners, officially revealing the book and providing some refreshments! We will also provide pens so you can get your copies signed by all of the published photographers. Make your copy even more unique by getting as many autographs as possible!

  Note: The event will be on the 3rd floor of Cox Center/River Market Books and Gifts. Books will be available to pick up (if you choose this option when purchasing the book online) and for purchase at the pre-sale rate of $29.95.

  Schedule of Events:

  10:15: Prize winners announced and book is officially released.

  10:45-Noon: Pick up books, brunch, meet and greet, get your copies signed, etc.

• April 2011 Storms

  April 2011 has been a terrible month for storms in Arkansas. Property has been damaged and lives have been lost due to high winds, tornadoes and flooding. If you've taken any photos of these storms during the month of April 2011 please share them here.

• Mid-America Photography Symposium in Eureka Springs

  Join us May 14-15, 2011 for the biennial Mid-America Photography Symposium in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. MAPSym features photographers from around the nation leading workshops and sessions. The Mid-America Photography Symposium is organized by a volunteer committee with the intent to provide a well balanced weekend of fun, education and a creative muse for your photography. Professional photographers will give presentations on photography projects and practices for hobbyists through professional participants.
