Doug (Mdtrttcmd), I don't mean to be comment lurker (though I do look far too often)...But when it comes to God's creations, I think what we are really about is getting the best angle on someone else's art. Framing is one thing, but making a butterfly wing...Peerless.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
When I saw this picture incognito I said to myself, I sure wish my favorite photographer Kirk Jordan had taken this one....and sure enough!!!!! Utterly magnificent!! I'm a Butterfly Lady, so I may need a framed copy of this one! A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
(Don'tcha just love that sparkling sun?
You have given Him the glory... and you shall be magnified.
So many beautiful elements brought together in one shot. White puffy clouds in a blue sky is hard to beat for a background. And how often can you get the multiple Swallowtails with one being upside down. Even got a bumblebee on the right hand flower. Great photo Kirk; belongs in the book!
I hope this photo makes it into the book. I love this. It's happy and fun. It's the perfect photo for butterfly fans. God has got to love your ability to show the world how gorgeous his planet is....this is a perfect shot - excellent composition, framing, light, color, etc....GREAT JOB sir.
WOW! This is wonderful! Beautiful lighting!! I sure hope it make it into the book! It sure deserves to be there! Best of LUCK to you, Kirk. This photograph is Ssooooooooooooooooooo ALIVE!! Its perfect, and so uplifting.
Kudos to you, Kirk, for giving God the glory for His wonderful creatures and creations. God has given you a wonderful talent for capturing His glory. This is the most beautiful butterfly picture I have ever seen. It makes me smile just looking at it!
Tools: Nikon D-300 with 16 to 85 zoom, in the 16mm position, with the little pop up flash. (this close, the pop up flash actually covers better than a big shoe mount flash.) I did tweak the colors ever so little, and burned in some of the over flashed parts.
Hi There! This picture would surely make anybody's day....it made my day for sure...love all the elements..the bright sun,the butterflies, the clouds...those butterflies are definately having a great time there in such a bright & wonderful day...
