Lake DeGray Sunrise
I underexposed this image in order to make the colors darker and richer. Using a wide angle lens sort of makes it look like a Rorschach chart - kinda. I was going to say that every sunrise that week was incredible but, aren't they all?

commented almost 2 years agoNow that has to be one of the absolute best sunrise or sunset pictures on here. There should be a sunset section instead of just landscapes or waterscapes. The water looks smooth yet silky too. Nice effect.

commented almost 2 years agoThank you, all. When I woke up that morning, I was so sleepy I staggered down the hall to take a peek outside. When I saw the colors, it was like a shot of caffeine. I grabbed my gear and said aloud, "Oh, man. Oh, man. Hurry. Hurry." Yeah, I'm one of those who talks to himself. . .sometimes : )
