commented over 1 year agoWe got out last night too Bob and shot the storms...Got a few good ones to post. Great shot! I don't know how they were doing up north, but the storm around central Arkansas hung around in the same spot for a long time so we were able to get in position.

commented over 1 year agoYes, this storm was isolated to the same area for a good while, It allowed me to run home grab my equipment and setup at my favorite barn and just open my shutter and wait.
I missed most of it, but I was able to capture about the last 10 minutes of the storm before it died off.
The clouds were really dense and a lot of the action was happening behind them. I had hopped to get a much brighter bolt, but It was an amazing show.

Barry, this was a huge lightning storm, almost no waiting. About every shot had some form of lightning in it. I took about 15 photos before it died down.
