Petit Jean State Park sunrise
One of the best locations in the state to take in the sunrise. This is from Petit Jean's grave overlook. There were about twenty photographers lined across the bluff line clicking as fast as they could. Our photography club, Central States Nature Photographers were having our annual spring gathering at Petit Jean and loving every minute.
The members of CSNP represent the central region of the United States for the Nature Photographers Network, a worldwide group of avid nature photographers. The central states region includes the states of Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, North Dakota and South Dakota.

commented about 2 years agoExcellent shot! Is this really "HDR" or just a similar process?
Mike Hall
commented about 2 years agoIt's not true HDR. It's three seperate exposures, blended in layers and using the erasure tool for certain areas. Dodged and burned in others.
