To the Stormy Lining
Always a favorite subject - the boardwalk at Stout's Point, Petit Jean State Park. You can also see it in B/W on my website.

Winter Dawn - Smoke and Fire
(I'll note there's no actual smoke or fire involved here - just the way the early dawn can look from my front deck ... if you get up early enough.)

Go With the Flow
Detail of the small waterfall near Davies Bridge - Petit Jean State Park.

Magazine Lodge - Christmas 2011
A panorama of the great room at Mt. Magazine's beautiful lodge. (Forgive the slight warping of perspective that I didn't try to fix ... photographically speaking, this is a tight room!)
Merry Christmas to All!

An Ornamental Photographer
I was photographing these Christmas ornaments when I noticed ... myself!

Magazine Bluffs – Last Day of Autumn 2011
One of the many bluffs at Mt. Magazine State Park, seen on the Last Day of Autumn, 2011 as the mountaintop was clearing after a morning of fog and cloud-cover.
-
Buckville - No Wake
Lake Ouachita in late Autumn, as seen from the Buckville day-use area. (I almost froze taking these shots - it had been spitting snow earlier!)

Ouachita Abandoned Farmhouse
I can't resist an abandoned, derelict building. This one is part of an old farm with several other buildings - most completely collapsed now. I'm afraid it isn't in any town that this site's database knows, so I'll choose Buckville as the closest. It's a little north of Lake Ouachita between the Lena and Buckville areas. I always like B/W for these shots, but you can usually see the color version on my website.

Red Haw School
This *may* be the old Red Haw School in the Ouachita Mountains - I need to get it's coordinates and check them against a map I have - but I know it's in the right neighborhood ... a few miles east of Story, AR.

Summer for November
This African Daisy is still blooming on my deck in the middle of November...
