Sunset on Lake Harrison
This one is certainly one of my most loved photos, personally. I don't know what it is, but something about it really gets me. The lone fishing pole waiting for the fisherman to return another day just makes it perfect, for me.

Captured by the Light!
We are the three local photographers from Harrison who were published in Capture 2010! We thought we should do a portrait to commemorate, and this is what we came up with! Chris has another version on his photostream here, if you want more!
From left to right, John O'Dell, Chris Ramsey, and me (Jamie Stevens)!

Patriot Guard Riders
The Patriot Guard came into Harrison to honor and protect the family of Clay McGarrah, a local boy who died in Afghanistan on July 4, 2010. A notorious group from Kansas threatened to protest at his funeral, so the Patriot Guard and most of the town's residents came out to support the family and show their patriotism. It was a beautiful thing to see. Check out the video of the procession at vimeo.com/13353574

A Storm Approaches
My girlfriend Chelsea and I were driving around outside of Eureka Springs one spring morning when I caught this shot. It was an awesome storm, too!

Reaching for the Sun
This shot came at a steep price: 20+ chigger bites to my arms after sticking my Nikon down in the high grass to get the angle right!

Eric Bibb performs at the Lyric
Blues legend Eric Bibb stops through the Lyric Theater in Harrison about once a year. If you've never seen him, make the trip up next time! He is incredible, and the Lyric is a beautiful old theater.
