Two In One
In between rounds of glorious rain and some hail yesterday, I was on the deck hoping to catch a hummingbird. I noticed these two squirrels at the bottom of the bird feeder. They were feeding on sunflowers knocked out by the birds. The shadow on the left is from a deck post and the ones on the right are leaves from a rose bush. I could just fit the squirrels in the frame.

Pretty Blues
I can't resist the lovely colors of my blue plumbago.

Red Poppy
Wildflowers have been sown underneath the arch bridge at
Cotter to naturalize the sloping embankment. Poppies are but one of the blooms. -
Rainbow Bridge
The Rainbow Bridge in Cotter was built in 1930 and in recent years underwent restoration. It is a real beauty.

Do They Meet?
The two bridges at Cotter from the scenic overlook on Highway 62 appear to intersect at some point, but they do not.

Good Morning Blues
The tiny blooms of a blue plumbago are almost as good as a cup of coffee first thing in the morning just after watering my plants.
-
Anthurium
I bought this plant at Wal-Mart last Friday at Mountain Home. I am sure they were ordered for Mother's Day. They are also known as Flamingo Flower.

Luscious Water
After watering my split leaf philodendron this Mother's Day, the morning sunlight on the leaf and water droplets was just beautiful.

Missouri Primrose
Several wildflower varieties are blooming under the Rainbow bridge at Cotter including Missouri Primrose.
