A young woman flashes me a smile as she rockets past on the tether rope of a 65-ft tall swing near our home. It was a bluebird-sky-fluffy-cloud kind of day and the perfect excuse to get out and practice panning techniques.

The lights of our state's capitol city cast a watercolor painting-like glow over the Arkansas River. Shooting from the North Little Rock waterfront, it was a happy surprise to learn one could include the brilliantly lit capitol dome in the frame!

Puppy Love
At a recent Christmas gathering, our friend Paul brought as his guest his 1-yr old St. Bernard puppy Roamer. They were the hit of the evening, and as we watched them pal around, it was evident to us all that Roamer clearly adores his kind, gentle master.
