OK so I know how we all HATE to critique on this site but here's what I'd like to know. If you had taken the photo below would you be able to use post-processing to make a good photo of it? a GREAT photo. I took this photo and you have my permission to be bold here - I want to see how YOU could make it look using whatever processes you use when something comes out of your camera. I have set up a facebook page for this and you should be able to copy it to your computer and work from there. Then post your finished photo to the page and lets see what you would have done!

I think that it could be worked on a little in Photoshop, but I think there is too much going on in the picture. I think when you take a picture, you should have a definite subject and focus on that subject. This picture has too many distractions from the subject in the middle. Also, the subject should be off center with a background that is not too detailed to distract for the subject. In photography, less is more.

I would delete it.

OK I think that is the story here - that one should be canned I've posted a new one if anyone is interested in trying this again:)

Agree with Paul. No foreground, aperture wrong unless you want to show the entire background with people having their parts of their body cut out of the photo. I think you had the right idea, just went about it the wrong way.
