The reality of childhood cancer

I was thinking about Madison Lanway tonight. September 14th, 2011 is a date that I will never forget, it was the day that I met sweet Maddie. She suffered from stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma. Meeting Maddie and following her story impacted me in a way I've never experienced. Unlike Leikyn that I've posted photo's of, Maddie lost her battle. Cancer took the ultimate toll on her little body, leaving her bed ridden and in a diaper. She fought the horrible disease with all she had, but Just one week after I met her, cancer took her away. She was just 5 years old. This is a photo I took of her and her father. The image may be hard to look at, but this is reality! This is what cancer can do to our children!! Three minutes from now, a child will be diagnosed with cancer, and another family will be faced with the very real possibility of losing their child. For more information on how you can help raise awareness and funds for Childhood cancer please message me. We are all they have!! Maddie you are missed but never forgotten!
