Falling Water Falling Stars
The milky way over Falling Water Falls. Photographers weren't the only people enjoying nighttime at the falls on this night. There were people camping to the left and their fire created the flecks of orange light visible on the left side of the frame. And the blue light is from the headlamps of children as they explored the creek above the falls. The sound of children talking and laughing as they enjoyed the wonder of nature made me long to be a child again. And then I realized I was out there enjoying it too so that must mean I still had a little bit of the childhood version of my self left in me. This is all one shot with very little post processing. The light hitting the falls was from my headlamp which I used to light paint during the 20 second exposure.
