commented about 1 month agoLinda, this is depression glass, the IRIS & HERRINGBONE pattern, iridescent color! It was made by the Jeannette Glass Company in 1928-1932 and in 1950. Reproductions are out there. Jeannette closed in 1983. I started collecting depression glass about 30 years ago. I collect sherbet dishes in all patterns, which makes for a unique and colorful display. The Arkansas Glasshoppers hosts a depression glass show every February at the Hall of Industry on the AR State Fairgrounds in Little Rock, usually around the Presidents‘ Day weekend. Your vase is beautiful! Your mom probably got it at the gas station or in a box of oats or laundry detergent!

commented about 1 month agoI doubt it. This is a lovely pitcher with the gold look of carnival glass or depression glass. Very nice picture of the pretty glass piece. I know you are proud to have it.
