Big Color, Little Bloom

This is Kalanchoe (kal-un-KOH-ee), also known as Widows Thrill. It is a genus of about 125 species of tropical, succulent, flowering plants, mainly native to Madagascar and tropical Africa. These plants are food for the caterpillars of the Red Pierrot Butterfly. Each tiny petal on my plant measures about 7/16 of an inch.
