A Walk on Shaw Bridge...
This is my nephew, Vincent. He graduates in May and it is so hard to believe. He is such a sweet and kind person. I am so glad he let me do his senior pictures. Getting pictures of him at this age is next to impossible. lol When he was little he posed for me endlessly, but now he is more camera shy - (except for those selfies everyone takes with their own cell phones!) lol This is the end of an era for him and now looking forward to college and all the new and exciting things that come with it! I know he will be successful in whatever path he chooses!
Wye Mountain Daffodils
It has been so rainy the last several days, I was wondering if we would ever be able to make it to the Wye Mountain Daffodil Festival. It quit raining yesterday afternoon and the sun came out! I think the daffodils really loved it and they were in full bloom. Today it was cloudy but they were still so beautiful. I always look forward to this every year to go and see all the daffodils in full bloom, they are gorgeous! If you have never been, you need to go it is well worth seeing.
It was a misty morning with a fog in the distance behind this old barn. I noticed the spider web with tiny drops of mist on it, emphasizing the web. I liked having the old barn and fog as a backdrop to this spider web.
Somewhere Over the Rainbow
My husband and I were out driving in the misting rain. We noticed the rainbow and I had to stop and get a shot. It was so beautiful and almost looked as if it was placed there by the barn to make a perfect picture. I love old barns and this was icing on the cake for me.
A Time to Dance
In deep thought as she puts on her ballet shoes.
Kenleigh loves to dance and she let me take some pictures of her in her ballet shoes and outfit that she wore in her recital. She is petite for her age and so delicate I call her my tiny dancer. ;)
Shaw Graffiti Bridge
This is such an interesting looking bridge right in the middle of nowhere.
Bull by the Barn
Got lucky and photographed a Bull by the barn. This bull was crossing to the other side of the barn to run off a couple other bulls that were getting too close to his herd.
Boots & Clover
A bright sunny day, a girl wearing boots & walking in clover. What more could you ask for!
The Elk at Boxley are amazing. I feel lucky enough to have photographed them in the valley. I hope to go back and see them again soon. A beautiful and peaceful place to visit.
I have always loved taking pictures and have gotten more involved with photography over the past several years. I enjoy meeting other photographers and sharing and exchanging ideas and helpful hints. .
